Our Employee, James Taylor and some of his neighbors decided that it was time to start a Neighborhood Watch. James was the lead dog and the process turned out to be surprisingly educational.
The interest from the local police department, public works, a local church, and many others has been truly enlightening. Along the way, the group learned, from a local police detective, that if you want to have a Neighborhood Watch, then find ways to build community.
In short Neighborhood Watch leads to > Building Community and this leads to a measurable result > Property Values. Getting things up and running from scratch was the real fun. Now it is great to see it grow.
